Featuring forest views from the living room, this wonderful vacation rental is beautiful any time of the year. Bright and cheerful with room to sleep eight, Rock Beach is the place for you!

The entry level includes two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and a glass sliding door to the covered deck. The second bedroom has a cozy queen-size bed. There is also a full bath with a tub/shower. The laundry closet is just across the hall.

On the second level, the living room, dining area, and kitchen are all together, so everyone can gather in one place. You’ll also find the second full bathroom. Plenty of bath linens are provided.

Relax and warm up by the wood burning fireplace in the living room. There's a large flat screen TV with cable and DVD player, plus a comfortable leather sofa, chair, and ottoman. Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected and the adjacent covered deck gas BBQ.

With all those mouths to feed, it’s handy to stay in for some of your meals. The well-equipped, open concept kitchen includes everything you need, especially the all-important dishwasher. There are six chairs at the large dining table and three stools at the breakfast bar.

On the loft, you’ll find one queen bed and one set of bunk beds—a perfect space for the kids or a small family to call their own.

When you’re ready to venture outside, keep everyone entertained in this perfect vacation setting. The Recreation Center / Lodge features a swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, locker room saunas, billiards, tennis and bocce courts, and a fitness trail. The complex backs up to Tahoe National Forest, offering miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and other activities year-round.

Your home away from home is in Carnelian Bay, where all North Lake Tahoe is right at your doorstep! Stroll down to Magic Carpet mini golf or check out Waterman’s Landing, located at Patton Landing Beach, a 3-acre, pebbly beach known for stand-up paddling.

To experience Lake Tahoe gambling and nightlife, Incline Village and Nevada's historic casino Crystal Bay are a short drive away, just across the state line.

Closer to home, you'll find superb dining options right in town like Gar Woods Grill and Pier for steaks and fish, the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for hearty breakfasts, and CB's Pizza for hand-tossed pies and beer.

You're only 10-12 miles from three great ski resorts—Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. Whether you prefer to downhill or cross-country ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or go sledding or ice skating, North Tahoe is the place for every winter activity.

At Squaw Valley, after conquering the slopes, go tubing with the kids or try out the mini snowmobiles at SnoVentures Activity Zone. There are dogsledding tours too!

Year-round, the Village at Squaw Valley offers dining, shopping, the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram, and a variety of activities.

In the summer, ride the Aerial Tram to High Camp then choose a scenic trail and walk or hike in one of the most breathtaking places in the world! At 8,200 feet elevation, admire the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with views of Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley's legendary granite peaks. In the Aerial Tram building lobby, kids and grownups can have a blast climbing the variety of routes on the 30’ simulated Headwall Climbing Wall. If you dare, learn how to do a front or back somersault at Skyjump; all ages are welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Rock Beach condo. The condo was perfect for our party of 6. very clean when we arrived, beds and sheets super comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for what we needed. The new bbq on the deck was great and we loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. The location was great to go to the different ski areas, and we enjoyed the short walk to the lake with amazing views. The hot tub after a long day of skiing was very nice. One of the best condos we have stayed in in Tahoe. We will be back.

Our vacation rental was in a great location and had almost everything we needed. The only thing we really needed that the kitchen didn’t have was a blender. We cooked all our meals right at the condo and it was very comfortable. The Frig had a couple issues like the numbers on the dial were worn off so whatever it was on when we arrived was causing our salads and fruit to freeze in the Frig so after I adjusted it with some guess work it was fine but it also had a leak in the Frig that we had to keep soaking up the water from. I let the rental agency know so that the next guess hopefully wouldn’t have to keep cleaning up the water. We also really enjoyed the pool, hot tubs and pickle ball courts. Communication was excellent prior, during and at the end of our stay. Overall a great stay.

The condo was spacious and provided more than enough room for our family of 5. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and we enjoyed the location. The property was great and the tennis courts, pool/hot tub and game room were fun for all of us. Unfortunately, we found the property to be extremely dark- there were no overhead lights and not nearly enough lamps to be able to see well. The coverings on the sliding glass doors kept falling down and some of the mini-blinds were broken. The kitchen floor/rug didn't appear very clean, but all other areas were well-cleaned. We would still recommend the condo.

We enjoyed our stay! The property is located close to the lake in a quite townhome community. It’s within walking or short drive to restaurants, the lake and ski resorts. The accommodations are a bit more basic, but clean and comfortable. Would suggest replacing the broken sliding glass door shades. Only warning is beware of the $500 security deposit. It was almost as much as our two night stay and it took 10 days to have it refunded. It seems that once the cleaning crew cleans after our stay and a new renter goes in (possibly same day), the rental company should initiate the return. Not sure why it had to take so long.

We arrived in the evening and didn't have any trouble finding the condo. It's in a great neighborhood and we found everything we needed.We were a party of 5 so the bedrooms being spread out was very convenient. We used the bbq and the deck.the house was exactly like the pictures. The neighbors were very nice and even the bears came out!

We have used these accommodations for two years in a row when we spend the weekend in Tahoe to go ride bicycles around the lake - They are very comfortable and the only thing I would say is they could perhaps use a few more kitchen utensils. But I would definitely recommend this place.

The location was perfect! Garwoods was 2 minutes from the condo for dinner or appetizers. Breakfast at The Old Post Office Cafe was delicious and easily a short walk. The beach, again walking distance was beautiful and picnic tables for snacks. The condo was nice and comfy. The only draw back was a group of young girls who stayed up partying ALL night long across the way.

We came for a ski vacation. The kitchen was a little dated, fridge had issues with temp. Froze first night, thawed the next. Was excited to use the fireplace after a long day of skiing, to find out they don’t supply any firewood, we would need to drive to town to buy some☹️. The beds were comfy and lots of hot water.

The good: near the lake and a few other amenities, pool was open on our last day (check due to COVID situation), spacious, comfortable beds, decent kitchen.
The bad: very little light, always kind of dreary. Fully light at 5am, hard to get good sleep.

Condo was very nice up to date and clean.
The only downside was that the TV cable package was very lacking, most of the common popular stations were not subscribed.
There were only 2 small pieces of firewood in the fireplace and none extra.
We had friends who rented a different unit the same weekend. they had a full cable TV package, and a storage closet full of firewood in their entry way.
Other than those two things we were very pleased with the unit.

This was a great place to stay. The location was within easy driving distance to several ski places. We arrived in the evening and I was carrying things in from the parking lot. A young man named Chris, an employee of the complex, came through to plow the lot. I asked him where the office was located since I had to pick up a parking permit and the access keys to the rec room. Rather than just give directions, he went to the office himself and came back with what I needed while I finished unloading. I will defiantly stay here again. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We loved the location which is a short walk to the lake. Kings Beach, Tahoe City & a great park were a short drive away. Just a heads up that the unit doesn't have A/C. We didn't realize that when we booked but even staying in August we did not need it as the condo stayed cool. The condo is nice but it seemed a little dark. We thought the bunk beds in the loft would be great for our kids but once we saw them we chose not to. The top bunks do not have any side rails and the one bunk bed is literally next to the loft railing. If you have a restless sleeper this could easily become a horrific scene. Towels provided were pretty cheap & thin but served their purpose. Would recommend if you are looking for a convenient and generally comfy place. Just don't expect high end amenities.

The condo has a lot of great things about it, the space and layout are nice and spacious for our family of four. The living room and dining room furniture were nice and comfy.

The only issue is that the kitchen and bath rooms are probably original to the condo, 40+ years old? The bathrooms are ok (counters and toilets are very low) it is the kitchen that really needs to be updated. It seemed ok for making breakfast and snacks but not great for making a meal. the counters and cabinets were in bad shape.

The condo is located in a great location, and was in overall pretty good shape. Several problems however, the refrigerator didn't work for three days and a shower wouldn't turn warm for the first day. The shower was repaired immediately, but the fridge took a while. The management company was professional and prompt, which made the problems manageable.

Overall, we were very pleased our accommodations. The unit was clean and very well located. Some updating needs to be done. Refrigerator and washer/dryer are not in good shape. The kitchen could us a facelift.

First impression was very strong. House has 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs with tons of closet storage. Second floor is the great room with a huge dining room table and great kitchen. Upstairs is a loft with a queen bed and a bunk bed. We slept 3 adults and 1 child very comfortably. Great location in Carnelian Bay, walking distance to great restaurants and trails, andample parking make this spot a great go-to for the future.

A little tight for eight people. Bring you own pan to cook with there is only 1 6" frying pan and zero spatula's. Proceedures for check-out are a little cumbersom. Don't get me wrong we enjoied our stay just needed to get over a few chalenges.

The people at First Accommodations have always been very helpful to us. This year this was especially true.

Great layout for 2 families of 4. The kitchen was missing some basics- i.e., the number of forks and spoons were sparse for 8 people- I don't think there were even 8 forks. Also, no spatula? It's hard to make pancakes without one, I'll tell ya! Also, only one garbage bag was provided, when we would have liked to change out the garbage mid-stay. Bed linens were a little cheap and rough. Other than that, it accommodated all 8 of us very well and had what we needed. Thanks!

Was the vacation rental in a great location? Yes.
Was the home clean and in good shape? The condo was clean and generally in good condition, but the bed sheets were awful! One set in particular were a polyester gauzey material. I've never seen anything like it before and hope not to ever again! The kitchen equipment was also somewhat lacking - for example, the can opener was not capable of opening a can...
Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? My only contact with the rental management was via e-mail prior to my arrival. The information provided was complete and there were no problems with arrival or departure. The keyless entry was convenient since we arrive late on the first night.

We enjoyed our stay as always!
